Makara means crocodile in Sanskrit. In this posture, the body looks like a crocodile, hence it is named Makarasana. If this yoga practice is done properly then it has many benefits. How To Do Makarasana Or Crocodile Pose Step By Step Guide:

Step 1. Begin by lying on the mat. Relax your body and gather awareness to lead your body in asana.
